THE LIST: Largest Valley Graduate Business School Programs

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This year, the List includes seven graduate business schools with locations in the San Fernando Valley. Pepperdine University ranks first, followed by University of Redlands, University of La Verne, California Lutheran University, Woodbury University, Phillips Graduate Institute, and California State University, Northridge, among others. Redlands took the second spot, replacing La Verne, with 481 graduates in 2011, an increase of 101. On the List, there are five universities that did not receive a ranking because they do not have locations and/or students in the Valley. UCLA tops that group. – By Marvin Vasquez THE PACESETTER Since 2005, the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University has topped the List. Founded in 1969 by Pepperdine faculty members, it gained its namesake when benefactor George L. Graziadio endowed the Business School in 1996. The school offers a variety of business programs, including eight types of MBAs. Pepperdine has two locations in the San Fernando Valley: Westlake Village and Encino. The Dean is Linda A. Livingstone, but the Campus Director for the Valley area is Leslie Haggard. – By Marvin Vasquez Download the Largest Valley Graduate Business School Programs list (pdf)
