The Nasdaq finished up 0.4 percent, while the Valley 50 Index was up 2.7 percent. The best local performer was BNK Petroleum Inc., up 28 percent, with Netsol Technologies Inc. being the second-best performer with a gain of 21 percent. The worst local performers were Sport Chalet Inc. and DTS Inc., which declined 12 percent and 6.2 percent, respectively.
