Senior Advisor to Sen. Robert Hertzberg
Fleming once was described by former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan as “Mr. San Fernando Valley.” He now serves as the senior advisor to State Sen. Robert Hertzberg. Fleming also founded the Los Angeles County Business Federation, or BizFed, an umbrella lobbying organization representing 215 business associations. During his career as an attorney, he was appointed to more than a dozen federal, state, county and city boards and commissions. He has also served on more than 20 boards for nonprofits and chaired many of them, including the Valley Economic Alliance and Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
