The Garland
Mills is general manager of the Garland, including its restaurant, the Front Yard. Since joining in 2013, Mills led the renovation of the hotel, which resulted in it being recognized among the top 15 hotels in Los Angeles in each of the last 6 years by Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. Mills is on the boards of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, Village Family Services and the East Valley Family YMCA. In 2017, he was named the Outstanding General Manager of the Year by the California Hotel and Lodging Association, and in 2019 he was the recipient of VICA’s President’s Award.
