Allen Lawrence & Associates
Lawrence is chief executive of Allen Lawrence & Associates, an insurance brokerage firm. He is chair emeritus of Val*Pac, the Valley Political Action Committee; he was chair from 1992 to 2007. In 1982 the governor appointed him to the California Health Facilities Commission where he later served as vice chair and as chair of its Public Liaison Committee. In 2000, the governor appointed him to serve on the California Transportation Commission where he later was chair. Among other affiliations, he was on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley and received its Champion of Youth Award.
