Now in his 11th term as the congressman representing California’s 28th District, which includes Burbank, Schiff is chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and a member of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. Schiff is a leader on national security and foreign policy issues and has advanced legislation to strengthen American democracy, protect global human rights and promote freedom of the press. He has also championed legislation to end gun violence and is focused on addressing climate change, homelessness and inflation.
