U.S. House of Representatives
Brownley was first elected to Congress in 2012 to serve as the representative for California’s 26th District, which encompasses most of Ventura County and a portion of Los Angeles County, including Camarillo, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village along with some areas of Simi Valley. In Congress she serves on the House committees on veterans’ affairs, natural resources and transportation and infrastructure. Brownley held several marketing positions with businesses before finding her calling in public service.
