Valley Community Healthcare
During the last several years, Wilson worked to keep Valley Community Healthcare ahead of the Covid-19 curve, which continues to this day and includes topping 15,000 immunizations and testing for the virus, virtual visits, and shifting workflows. The nonprofit logged more than 94,000 patient visits during the pandemic. Her appointment as chief executive in 2004 added to a 29-year career with the organization in various strategic positions. In recent years, she has overseen the opening of North Hills Wellness Center and the Student Health Center at Los Angeles Valley College. She received a Business Journal Women in Business award in 2009.
