Valley Village
Swearman is the senior director of development and donor relations at Valley Village, a nonprofit serving 400 women and men in the San Fernando Valley with developmental and intellectual challenges. Before working at Valley Village, he provided strategic consulting for nonprofits, national associations, and corporations for over 15 years. He currently serves on the Valley Industry Commerce Association’s board, its executive and nonprofit committees, foundation board and diversity, equity and inclusion committee. Before relocating to Los Angeles in 2014, Swearman served as president of the board for Washington, D.C.’s Different Drummers, an LGBTQ community band.
