Aircraft Component Repair Names CEO

Aircraft Component Repair Inc. announced on Monday that Dennis Suedkamp has joined the company as its new chief executive.

Suedkamp replaces Christine Meyerstein as the head of the Valencia provider of component overhaul services.

“I am thrilled to join (President and Chief Operating Officer) Dennis Mack and the (Aircraft Component Repair) team, and I am looking forward to building on ACR’s solid foundation to foster growth for the company,” Suedkamp said in a statement.

Prior to joining ACR, Suedkamp had been chief executive of Fastener Technology Corp., a North Hollywood manufacturer of exotic alloy fasteners for defense and commercial aviation and the aerospace industry. Before that he was with Velocity Aerospace in Burbank.

Meyerstein, who stepped up to lead the company after her husband Roger passed away in 2013,  said that Mack will retire in a few years.

“We are bringing in Dennis Suedkamp now, to facilitate an orderly transition over time and ensure that ACR will continue to be a great place to work for our loyal employees and deliver great quality and value to our loyal customers,” she said in a statement.

Northstar Group was retained by ACR to lead the search that resulted in the selection of Suedkamp as its new chief executive, according to a release from the company.

“Northstar did an outstanding job helping us find the right person for this job; I am eager to help Dennis Suedkamp become the leader of the future for ACR,” Mack said in a statement.
