Woodland Hills Public Relations Agency JMPR Acquired

JMPR, the Woodland Hills-based public relations agency that specializes in high-end automotive and luxury brands, has been acquired by imre, an integrated marketing agency in Baltimore. Joe Molina, founder of JMPR, plans to stay with the agency. A cover story in the October 15 issue of the Business Journal will provide further details. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. JMPR works mostly for automotive and transportation clients; its roster includes Infiniti, Airstream, Bugatti and the Los Angeles Auto Show. Imre handles apparel, work equipment and consumer goods customers with clients such as Pepsico, Dickies and Stihl. “As imre scales its growth, it continues to see client interest in earned media, and the acquisition of JMPR will help imre further meet that demand,” the company said in reference to the acquisition. Imre already maintains an office in Los Angeles, but the JMPR acquisition has doubled its staff in the market. The combined company has 124 employees.
