TicketManager Secures $20 Million Investment

Entertainment and sports ticket management firm TicketManager has received $20 million in a second round of funding that will go toward expanding into new markets. Kayne Partners, in Los Angeles, and Point Judith Capital, in Boston, led the funding round for the Calabasas company. TicketManager, formerly named Spotlight Ticket Management, manages more than 9 million sports and concert tickets each year for clients ranging from giant companies such as Wells Fargo & Co., Verizon Communications and AT&T Inc. to small law firms. Co-founder and Chief Executive Tony Knopp said TicketManager puts the fun and a return back into an important business investment. “With the latest round of funding, we will continue our rapid expansion domestically and globally by adding to our team, building mission critical technology for our customers, and opening the world’s eyes to just how valuable and easy client entertainment is,” Knopp said in a prepared statement.
