60 New Beds at Glendale Adventist Medical Center to Open

Glendale Adventist Medical Center received approval from state licensing authorities on Jan. 12 to open 60 new beds. Three new units that make up the final phase of the $220 million West Tower project are opening to patients on Jan. 16. The 60 news beds will bring to 515 the total beds at Glendale. The beds are on three floors of the West Tower and include a new cardiac intensive care unit, a neuro-intensive care unit and a 20-bed orthopedics unit. The build-out cost $17 million, hospital officials said. Judy Temes
