Financial software developer Blackline Systems has established a formal alliance to provide software and professional services to clients of audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG LLP. The alliance extends an existing relationship between Woodland Hills-based Blackline and KPMG to provide additional value to business clients. KPMG has already been providing feedback on Blackline’s balance sheet account reconciliation software and suggested enhancements. KPMG also has 70 consultants who have completed a Blackline software training course. “We’ve been honored that KPMG has shown such a commitment to getting consultants trained to implement our software, but having a formal alliance in place takes our relationship to a much more strategic level,” said Blackline CEO Therese Tucker in a prepared statement.
