Aerospace aftermarket parts supplier Ontic has signed a licensing agreement with Curtiss-Wright Corp. for parts used on military helicopters and commercial airliners. Terms of the deal between Ontic, based in Chatsworth and a subsidiary of BBA Aviation plc, and Curtiss-Wright, in Charlotte, N.C., were not disclosed. Among the parts that Ontic will support are smoke detector sensors, power suppliesand power converters used on Sikorsky Blackhawk helicopters, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jet, and Boeing 747, 767 and B757 jets.
