Burbank Filtration Firm Makes Acquisition

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions expanded its product line with the acquisition of distributor Engineered Machinery Inc. Ryan Herco, a Burbank company founded in 1948, distributes fluid and filtration products used in the chemical processing, life sciences, and food and beverage sectors. Engineered Machinery, in Tualatin, Ore., distributes pumps, tubing, valves and other accessories used in clean rooms and other industrial applications. “Our vision is to leverage EMI’s advanced capabilities to take Ryan Herco’s value-added services offering to a new level,” said Ryan Herco Chief Executive Chuck Moyer in a prepared statement. Ryan Herco closed another acquisition in February with the purchase of GFI Stainless, a Modesto distributor of stainless steel and special alloy fluid handling equipment. Financial terms of the Engineered Machinery acquisition, announced earlier this week, were not disclosed.
