Burbank Tech Company Receives $750,000 in Funding

Start-up software and technology company Network Optix received a $750,000 round of financing to get its video and digital media transfer product to market. The funding was led by Jor Law, a board director of Burbank-based Network Optix, with investments from HauteSpot Networks, a developer of wireless routers, Dr. Kenneth Lu, and angel investors from multiple industries. “We are excited about the incredible momentum our company is gaining and the interest that our core technology is generating across diverse industries ranging from social networking to security and surveillance,” said Network Optix Co-Founder and CEO Nathan Wheeler in a prepared statement. Network Optix’s main product is the EVE Media Player, a platform for managing digital files.
