Cherokee Declares Dividend

Apparel brand licensing company Cherokee Inc. announced it will pay shareholders a quarterly dividend of 10 cents a share. The Van Nuys company will pay the dividend to shareholders of record as of March 1. It will be payable on or about Mar. 15. Since 1996, Cherokee has paid out about $224 million in dividends, the company said. Shares of Cherokee lost 13 cents, or 1 percent, to close at $13.94 on the Nasdaq.
