Health Care Firm Buys Another in Missouri

U.S. HealthWorks on Wednesday announced that it has acquired Mosaic Life Care’s occupational medicine clinic in Missouri. The Valencia health care provider network offers occupational health care and urgent care services among other health care services in 250 work sites nationwide. The Mosaic Life Care clinic will be U.S. HealthWorks’ sixth medical clinic in Missouri. “Mosaic Life Care has a history of providing excellent medical care,” Joseph Mallas, president of U.S. HealthWorks, said in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome the team from their Occupational Medicine Clinic to U.S. HealthWorks and are excited to expand our services in the St. Joseph region with this new center.” With more than 4,000 employees countrywide, U.S. HealthWorks is one of the country’s largest operators of occupational health care centers. It is a subsidiary of Dignity Health, based in San Francisco.
