Interlink Electronics Inc. has expanded its board of directors by two seats and appointed private equity investors to fill them. Having Angela Blatteis and Frank Levinson join the board of the Camarillo sensor manufacturer will bring guidance to help grow Interlink’s business, said Chief Executive Steven Bronson. Blatteis is a consultant with Gores Group, a Los Angeles private equity firm where she has worked on mergers and acquisitions. She is also founder and chief executive of Soupure, a Los Angeles startup providing home delivery of dairy-free, low-fat soups. Levinson is a partner at Phoenix Venture Partners in San Mateo. He also serves as managing director of the Small World Group in San Francisco, an incubator for clean tech, optical systems and novel material technologies. “Angela Blatteis’ advanced knowledge of the equity capital markets and corporate M&A coupled with Frank Levinson’s deep insights into scaling the growth of high-tech product companies with significant Asia R&D and manufacturing footprints will be invaluable to the future success of Interlink,” Bronson said in a prepared statement.
