MAXON Announces Re-launch of 3D Training Website

Newbury Park-based MAXON Computer Inc., developer of 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering solutions, announced the re-launch its online training and education site for Cinema 4D users. The redesigned website of Cinerversity features tutorials, instructional tips and forums that aim to help creative professionals, educators and students sharpen their 3D skills. Since its original launch in 2006, the site’s popularity has grown at a rapid rate and now features more than 2,000 video tutorials and learning tools for professionals in the 3D industry. To better serve its clients, Maxon conducted a survey of 3D artists and educators, inquiring about the changes and features they would like to see on the site. Company officials said respondents will be pleased to find a majority of what they asked for in the new site. The revamped Cineversity will feature a new dashboard interface as well as search and filtering tools that will allow users to easily navigate and find tutorials that fit their needs. Additional features include student management tools for instructors, a “Cineversity Live!” webcast and an online wiki knowledge base where users can share information and 3D tips. In a prepared statement, Paul Babb, president and CEO of MAXON US, said the changes to Cineversity were “artist-friendly” and will allow for users to quickly search and filter results while also customizing their CINEMA 4D training. “We are committed to the CINEMA 4D community to provide educational material that will increase the artist’s proficiency and productivity,” Babb said.
