Mission Valley Bank Appoints New Vice President

Mission Valley Bank announced yesterday that Caleb Willis has been named vice president and relationship manager. The bank has locations in Valencia, Sun Valley and Santa Clarita. “Caleb has spent the majority of the past 10 years building a tremendous reputation throughout the SBA Lending community. He is a skilled community banker with a deep understanding of our local area markets and business climate and we are very excited that Caleb has joined Mission Valley’s team,” said Tamara Gurney, president and CEO, in a prepared statement. Willis is a longtime resident of Santa Clarita Valley who attended Valencia High School and Azusa Pacific University. He was previously vice president and SBA manager for Boston Private Bank and Trust. “In today’s turbulent economic times, people need more from their banking relationships than ever before. Growing businesses need bankers that get to know them as individuals and work to get a real understanding of their businesses and its needs,” Gurney continued. “They need bankers that provide them financial solutions – not just products. I am particularly excited to welcome Caleb to our team as he is a well-rounded financial expert and brings with him the skill and knowledge our clients and community deserve.” Willis will be based in the Valencia branch.
