Wireless Internet connectivity provider Nomadix Inc. has settled a patent infringement case against Aruba Networks Inc., a vendor of wireless network equipment. Terms of the settlement announced Tuesday between Nomadix in Agoura Hills and Aruba Networks in Sunnyvale were not disclosed. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Under the settlement, Aruba will have a license to use Internet access technologies from Nomadix. Nomadix, owned by DOCOMO interTouch pte Ltd. in Singapore, supplies wireless connectivity equipment primarily to the hospitality industry. In November 2012, Nomadix settled a lawsuit filed against Hewlett-Packard Co. in Palo Alto for patent infringement. Details of the settlement were not released but did grant Hewlett-Packard a license to use Nomadix technology.
