Sky Zone Opens Valley Location

Note: An earlier version of this story contained an incorrect location for the headquarters of Sky Zone. Indoor trampoline park Sky Zone is set to open its first Los Angeles location after signing a lease valued at more than $3 million in Van Nuys. The 39,000-square-foot industrial building at 7741 Hayvenhurst Ave. will be turned into an all-trampoline, walled playing facility. Sky Zone, headquartered in Los Angeles, has more than 100 franchises, and the new location will be one of its largest. Charles Carmichael of NAI Capital Inc.’s Encino office, who represented Sky Zone, said finding a space for the concept was difficult. “This wasn’t a standard industrial box deal and it really took understanding the client’s needs,” he said. “I looked in the San Fernando Valley for about a year before finding this location.” The length of the lease was not disclosed. SkyZone operates Southern California locations in Covina, Gardena, Anaheim and Riverside.
