A subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc. received a contract to provide Dow Chemical Co. with management and support research services at three locations. Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. will manage the Dow research facilities in Midland, Mich.; Freeport, Texas; and Spring House, Pa. to assure safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. “This award complements our strategic thrust in test and measurement, broadens our overall market reach and increases our commercial portfolio,” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman and chief executive of Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne, in a prepared statement. Teledyne Brown has a track record of laboratory management, including work with commercial radiological laboratories and for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. Mark Madler
