Testronic Opens Warsaw Plant

Quality-control firm Testronic has opened a facility in Poland to meet European demand for its video and online-gaming services. The Burbank company, which ensures that games are compatible with consoles, online platforms and personal computers, will open a facility in Warsaw that employs 190 per shift. The city was chosen because of Warsaw is a center for higher education in Poland and has a strong transportation system, the company said. “We work on many of the world’s biggest games franchises and our clients appreciate the service that we provide, said Testronic Chief Executive Mike McGarvey in a prepared statement. Testronic is a subsidiary of the Catalis Group in the Netherlands, and operates facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
