Vitesse Adds New Board Members

Camarillo manufacturer Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. has added two new members to its board of directors who have experience as corporate executives. Matthew Frey and Kenneth H. Traub were elected to the board when two other members chose not to stand for re-election. The Vitesse board has seven members, including Chief Executive Chris Gardner. “Our new directors have a strong mix of leadership, business acumen, and relevant experience that aligns with our strategic objectives,” said Gardner, in a prepared statement. William LaRosa and G. Grant Lyon stepped down from the board, which is chaired by Edward Rogas Jr. Frey is chief executive of Optimum Energy LLC, a Seattle-based provider of energy management applications for complex buildings, data centers, campuses, hospitals and manufacturing facilities. He has experience in senior executive and advisory roles at technology companies. Traub is chief executive at Ethos Management LLC, a private investment and consulting firm in New Jersey. He has more than 20 years in senior management, corporate governance, turnaround, and transaction experience with various public and private companies. Traub also serves on the boards of MRV Communications, a Chatsworth optical network and Ethernet communications company, and Tix Corp., a Studio City operator of discount ticket kiosks in Las Vegas.
